Lizbeth DeJesus
At-Large Councilwoman Representing Woodbridge Township
Lizbeth DeJesus was born in Puerto Rico and lived there until she was 9 years old when her family moved to New York. Woodbridge Proper has been Lizbeth’s home for over 20 years with her husband Angel and their four kids, Angel, Matthew, Brianna, and Madison. As the first Latina woman to serve on the Woodbridge Township Municipal Council, Lizbeth proudly represents the Latino community and she hopes that any child who sees her or her name is motivated to believe that they can become who they choose to be.

Lizbeth represents all of Woodbridge Township as a Councilwoman-At Large and does a lot of work in the Spanish-speaking communities.
Spearheads the annual Hispanic Heritage Cultural Festival every September during National Hispanic Heritage Month.
Advocates for girls in sports.
Organizes the annual Keasbey Back to School Block Party and collects school supplies and backpacks to give out to Keasbey residents.
Lizbeth currently works at Port Reading School #9 as a paraprofessional.
