Dan Harris is a lifelong resident who a is seeking his first term as an at-large member of the council representing constituents all throughout the Township. Dan brings with him an extensive background in government and public service, shaped by years of experience in policymaking, education leadership, and community involvement. His record of service reflects a commitment to effective governance, strong public education, and improving the quality of life for all residents of Woodbridge.

Facts about Dan:

  • Dan is currently the Chief of Staff to NJ Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin where he has overseen the passage of over 30 laws adressing food insecurity, multiple K-12 education reforms, phase-in $15 minimum wage increase, StayNJ and more.

  • Dan is the Chairman of Mayor McCormac’s Wellness Committee.

  • Dan is the co-coordinator of the annual Colonia Cleanup, board member of Bowl for Hunger, and member of the American Irish Association.

  • Served twelve years on the Woodbridge Township Board of Education including three terms as the President.
